WARM-UP [SCRAMBLE]
Each team member is required to record four tee box drives during the round. After a drive is selected the next shots are made from that chosen spot. The team continues to choose and play from the best location collectively until they reach the green. Once the ball has reached the green all team members are able to participate until the ball is holed out. The total score of the hole is record as the team score. This is continued for the entire round.
ABEGWEIT CUP – ROUND ONE [HIGH/LOW SCORE]
This round is a two man team event. The two matched teams will compete head to head in match play. In this round each player will play their own ball throughout the match. At the end of each hole, the scores from each team will be identified as the high score for the hole or the low score for the hole. The high scores from each team are then compared to determine who has the lower of the high scores for that hole. The winner is awarded a point. Likewise the low scores from each team are compared and the lowest of the low scores is the winner of the hole and is awarded a point. In the event of a tie in scores for a hole in either the high or low game a half point is awarded to each competitor.
